Super fun!
Achoo
Is it impolite to not have someone say “gesundheit” or “bless you” when you sneeze? To clarify further- in cubicle environments, where you do not see one another? I feel as though if you know someone, sure, say whatever… but otherwise, why? It’s only a sneeze. If you really think that your soul is leaving every time you sneeze, and therefore must have someone...
I’m wondering why this week has been less productive than usual.
Erg, my eyes are so tired.
Wishing I didn’t have to spell things out for people, sometimes. Oh, well- gives me something to do, I guess.
Quick Research!
I found that caffeine consumption must be rather high to have an effect on hydration: Google Answers Positively Coffee (it should be taken into consideration that they’re promoting coffee in general, but Google Answers seems to corroborate their research) So: nice! Now I can count coffee and tea towards my “water” (aka hydration) consumption.
Wondering if a cup of caffeinated tea or coffee can count as a half cup of water? Does the diuretic properties of these beverages completely cancel out the fact that these are made with a full cup of water? I make my tea, in fact, with 2-2.5 cups of water. I feel as though this should count for some hydration effect. Should research further.
Nutrition follow-up
I revisited some of the sites I’ve signed up for in the past (Todoist, Remember the Milk, and Joe’s Goals), and decided that Joe’s Goals, with the ability to put multiple checkmarks in the day is best suited for the purpose. We’ll see how things go.
Nutrition
I wish there was some web-based application to track your daily nutrition. Such as, you’re supposed to have 8 glasses of water a day, and it would have 8 checkmarks for you to check (before you complete the “drink water” task) Perhaps there is a to-do application that already has this functionality? Hmm.

Hmmm, doesn’t seem too complicated. And it used powdered cardamom, as opposed to cardamom pods, which (for some reason) I think might be easier to find. Dunno.
Gah, my head hurts. Work: Do not want.
Videos: Is Your Vet Ripping You Off? →
I have one thing to say about this: Those “vets” in PetSmart stores - I went there because I needed pet meds (the standard heart/flea kind) and the rabies vacc for my pup. All they wanted to do was sell me crap. They didn’t even realize my pup was a girl (seriously? WTF). Moved on to a VCA associated vet, and I’m very happy.
I can’t forget that I need to go to Fed Ex, today during lunch break.
ruhlman.com: Food Rant: America's Fat Problem →
Hear, hear. “We have a serious fat problem in America. It has nothing to do with our obesity problem. We also have a salt problem, and it’s not about hypertension. Fat and salt are the leading bugaboos in America’s on-going national diet program, the wrench in the spokes of our quest for good nutrition, the evil forces which, in our fearful helpless craving for them, prevent Americans...

Feeling rather tired today… not sure why.
In fact, I am rather zonked. Perhaps I should have stayed home sick. Normally I feel better by now.
At work… meh. At least tomorrow’s Friday!
